Salt and Water : Try grandma's best remedy by mixing 1 cup warm water in 1⁄4 teaspoon salt. If you have this solution, you can also add 1 tablespoon of Listerine to kill germs. This solution helps to  neutralize and rinse acids in throat and help to promote fast healing of irritated membranes and  relieving burning sensation. Note : Mix fresh batch of gargle for everyday use. It is better to waste bit pouring out than to leaving this in glass, where this may become contaminated with bacteria.


Lemon and Water : Mix 1 cup water in 1 teaspoon lemon juice as best home remedy to get relieve from sore throats; this juice help to shrink swollen throat tissue and create acidic environment for bacteria and viruses.


Lemon, Honey and Ginger in water : This remedy mixes juice of 1⁄2 squeezed lemon, 1⁄2 cup of hot water, honey and 1 teaspoon each of powdered ginger. Pour water over ginger, and then add honey and lemon juice and gargle. Honey coats are throat and has mild antibacterial properties.


Hot Sauce and Water : Capsicum in hot pepper helps to alleviate pain and fights inflammation. Add 5 shakes of ground cayenne pepper into a cup of hot water to get relief from sore throat relief. It will burn, try this gargle after every 15 minutes.


Sage and Water : Sage helps to soothe sore throat and help to get ease in pain or passage from swollen nasal. A traditional remedy calls for 1⁄8 cup water, 3⁄8 cup vinegar, 1⁄4 cup brown sugar, 1⁄2 teaspoon alum and 1 teaspoon sage.


Turmeric and Water : This yellow powdered spice is very powerful antioxidant, and scientists say that it has amazing strength to fight against serious diseases. For sore throat, mix 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric in 1 cup of hot water and then gargle.


WheatGrass Juice : A very quick rinse and spit with chlorophyll-rich which helps to prohibit growth of bacteria and help to ease throat pain. Hold this solution in mouth for 5 minutes, wheatgrass juice is very helpful to revitalize weakened gums and help to stop toothache pain.
